Credit

Had lunch with a colleague and paid with my credit card. He went, "Oh, you are paying with credit, I can pay, I have cash!" Huh??? And then I realized why he said that so I burted "But I pay my bills on time!" I never had that perspective until today that using a credit card means you can't afford to pay.
