You wasted $2 this weekend!

Brought you to the library over the weekend for this programme => Toddle down to these fun-filled sessions, where we will be sharing on the kind of books that are suitable for your little ones and even introduce some rhymes that your toddlers can boogie to at home. Admission is $2 per parent-child pair.

Your dad almost spat when he found that his S$2 note was useless in the library. They only accept cash cards. Cash not accepted, although it states on the note that it is legal tender. He would normally walk out immediately but for you, he grumbled as loudly as he could in the "please keep quiet" environment, swallowed his indignant bags of saliva and walked back to the counter to borrow a cash card so that he could enroll you into the session.

Hardly 2 seconds into the session and you wanted to make friends with the kids near to you, reaching out and trying to grab their sleeves/hands/hair, even their mommies'! While the caterpillar ate 4 roses, 5 strawberries and 6 leaves, you crawled and wiggled like one. When he turned into a cocoon after eating 10 peas, we tried to cocoon you in our arms as well. No success. By the time he turned into a butterfly (the next page), we knew you had to be freed from the class as well. The other mommies were getting visibly irritated with you.

We brought you to the playroom in the club. Freedom! You were much happier there.

It'd be a while before we bring you back to the library... with a cash card.
