40 Degrees
[Wednesday PM] Go for a run with Papa [Thursday 3am] Mummy: Papa! Wake up! Your son having a fever.... Papa: Huh??.... Mummy: Where is the thermometer?...***scramble***...Beep beep beep beep...38.9 degrees! ***feed baby paracetamol*** [9am] 37.8degrees [11am] 40 degrees! Baby lying on the mattress with eyes opened wide. Mummy: Where is the bullet? ***scramble***........[mid afternoon] 37.8 degrees...baby runs round the house. ***relief*** [5pm] Baby gets hotter...slumps down on the mattress again. Does not move. Eyes opened....beep beep...beep beep....39.7 degrees! ***2nd bullet*** baby fever subsides to 38 degrees [8pm] ..beep...beep ... 38 degrees. Mummy fed up with armpit thermometer. Goes out to buy the ear thermometer from Guardian pharmacy...(#@*!?) thermometer costs $129!!!! [11pm] 39.9 degrees...***3rd bullet*** [Friday 7am] 38.2 degrees..... whole family gets ready to bring baby to the PD again ..... [9:30am] Baby diagnosed with HFMD, sent for blood test....baby's little 4th finger on the right hand pricked. Baby drinks milo while waiting for the results [11am] Baby goes home with a bag of medicine. [Sunday AM] Baby points at playground. Mummy says: No baby, you can't go there for a while. You want prata? Baby nods. Prata comes. Baby dips a piece in the curry........
