Had a drink and some Belgium mussels with the big one at OOSTERS before coming home today. For $21, you get a 1/2kg pot of mussels with a generous plate of thick-cut fries. Best of all, we didn't get any "longkang" (smelly) ones. All yummy. All good. Perfect way to start the weekend!

Dunno why this post triggered memory of eating cockles with u & Bing... u removed the shitty part of it and said eating this way is cleaner or something? And the cockles weren't too fresh or too bloody or something?
When was that? Where was that? I must have been 45kg in that era, LOL!
Hahahha!!! Bivalves are filter feeders and for some good reason, i.e to get my degree - I had to operate on one of them and identify where their anus is. Couldn't eat those things for the longest time ever after. Now that all knowledge has been returned to the era of when we were 45 kg, can safely enjoy them again. Anus and all! Hahhahaaa!!!
