Caught a boy throwing sand at a live crab on the beach this morning. Thankfully, the crab got away from these mini hooligans. They thew enough sand at it to make it go scuttling back to the sea.Another boy managed to catch a jellyfish in a plastic cup. It was still pulsating and this same group gathered around to look, with one suggesting that the crab and the jellyfish should be put together in a bucket so that they can 'fight and see who win'.
Personally, am not very impressed by the kids' respect for other living things but am very pleased to see there's actually some fauna left on our local beaches.
Chilli crab and seasoned jellyfish anyone?
